MASINT: Collection Plan

The assignment this week asks to reflect on the process taken to finish the paper. Before beginning, the first thing I did is to research the point of the paper. I ran a search for "live antiship missile firing test.” Reading through the articles obtained from this search helps to view the act from other’s perspectives as well as the different sensors and technical capabilities of the missile. The reading for this included an article from Business Insider by Gina Harkins (Harkins, 2021) as well as an article from The Moscow Times titled “Russian Navy Conducts First Black Sea Supersonic Cruise Missile Test. (The Moscow Times, 2021)

Following my initial research and reading, I began browsing multiple articles related to MASINT until finding the pieces that guided me to finish my assignment. The articles I found include a very informative USNI News article (LaGrone, 2021), a website titled "electro-optical MASINT, (Citizendium, 2013), and the DIA's. "MASINT Handbook for the Warfighter." (The INCA Project Office, 1994) These articles helped to broaden the knowledge I had retained from the reading assigned in the class. The combination of my learning up to this point and the articles cited here were essential for the collection plan outlined below.
